Agricultural Environment classes visit WTVA Studios

Damon Ladner’s 1st and 4th period Agricultural Environment classes, at the New Albany School of Career and Technical Education, recently visited the WTVA Studios to meet with Meteorologist John Dolusic. The visit was part of the classes unit on weather, weather patterns, and atmospheric conditions. Dolusic showed students how the weather was broadcast, how to predict weather, and what a forecast meant. The students found it most interesting to learn that the WTVA staff actually sets the forecast for their viewing area not the National Weather Service.
