Matkins Selected as 2009-2010 SCTE Teacher of the Year

Billy Matkins was recently chosen at the 2009-2010 Teacher of the Year at the School of Career & Technical Education (SCTE). Mr. Matkins began his employment at the SCTE as the Building Trades Instructor in 1982. He is married to Dr. Kay Sloan Matkins who is presently employed at Blue Mountain College. They have two children; Chris Matkins and Jill Gooch and four grandchildren: Haley, Morgan, Hunter and Jordan.
