SkillsUSA Winners

Two students from the School of Career & Technical Education won at the 2009 State SkillsUSA contests. Chris Carter placed 2nd in Job Interview and Chad Browning 2nd in Plumbing.The contests were held April 14-17 at various community college campuses around the Gulfport/Biloxi area. Other students who competed in the state contests were: Anthony Brewer and Jonathan Potts-Masonry, Joe Sugarbaker-Auto Service Tech, Chris Bishop-Residential Wiring , and Zach Marise-Job Demo. Chris Carter is a student at New Albany High School and Chad attends West Union. Billy Matkins, Kevin Wigington and Jon Ridgeway are the club advisors.
